here are some things i would like to see
1) lets get the RG3 BS out of the way first . a return to his rookie year form with a new wr corp is a must . Continued improvement from KC is a must . i am interested to see how he stacks up vs Mallet head to head in the best young back up qb trade bait debate .
2) lache seestrunk take over at RB in helu's role . (wont happen) . i like his speed and that of thompson's . helu just doesnt seem to have their wiggle or explosiveness
3) mike mcglyn take over at center for stieger . at 325 lbs i like his size over stieger . i just see steiger as monty part dew
4) spencer long take the RG spot from chester . chester costs too much and we have see what he offers . time to go younger
5) sit moses for a year then turn it over to him in 15 polumbus is the definition of stop gap .
6) niles paul finally step up as a receiving TE behind reed . how can an ex -wr not catch the ball more ?
7) skins cut ties with moss , hankerson and perhaps robinson . hank cant be trusted health wise or hands wise . robinson has teased us for long enough and moss is way past his prime . time for the grant's and hoffman's of the world to make the grade
now for the defense
1) baker step up at LDE and get about 5 sacks
2) the huge geathers step in and make the team . we need young lineman and he can play some NT
3) keenon robinson step right in and be a viable ILB and put the injuries behind him . if he can work out then we should have a decent ILB there
4) thomas beats out merriweather for the SS job . we need new blood there
5) ryan clark has another year in the tank . we need to groom either rambo or davis for the role . right now i prefer the better tackling davis
6) cut ties with biggers and maybe even porter . time for breeland minniefield to get in there and get physical . i would also like to see blodget make the PS . i love his size
7) i would like to see rak , kerrigan , murphy and b jenkins on the field at the same time some . that is a lot of pass rush coming
special teams
1) malone take over at punter and deliver what he has the potential to do . punt for high avg , and pin teams inside the twenty . he has shown he can do it but we need consistency .
2) find a KO returner who gives us a chance at decent field position . i dont care if its roberts , thompson or seestrunk .
3) find a PR that gives us a chance (see above )
4) hocker beats out kai and solves both the FG and KO problems
MISC
1) can we tackle better . that killed us more then anything
2) can we manage the stinking clock whether its getting plays in or running the 2 minute drill . we have been awful at this
3) cut the off field drama . we have had AH , DMAC , and RG3
4) can we get away from stupid penalties ? these unneeded personal fouls , unsportsmanlike penalties and the self inflicted mental penalties
