Mussina was every bit as good as Glavine (if not better), but he lacked the 'sexy' stuff that Glavine has that all the voters love (300 wins, Cy, WS)
I'm no fan of either one of these guys but when it comes down to it there is no comparison. Mussina couldn't carry Glavine's jock if he wanted to.There's a pretty interesting book called Living on the Black that chronicles Mussina's and Glavine's 2007 seasons. I enjoyed it, anyway.
You clearly underrate Mussina if you don't think he was better than Morris or Pettitte.

So then why does Mussina have better numbers than Glavine virtually across the board? Mussina's got a better win %, ERA+, WHIP, K and BB rates, etc.
And even if you look at Glavine's career to the innings point where Mussina retired (if anyone tries to use the 'Glavine has worse numbers because he pitched longer'), Mussina still has better numbers.
Not to mention, their playoff stats are quite similar.
I think Mussina is somewhat underrated. I liked that guy.
