I call it like I see it.....

The Oline doesnt look ready to me.....Whit hasnt played all season so we are going to hear how he needs the 1st 3 games to get in shape...After saying he was "healthy and its the best I have felt since my rookie year' yea what the fuck ever.... Andre Fatso SMith now has a gimpy knee...Whit is hurt and the Center position to me still looks like a big ass question mark....

Andy Dalton can't throw accurately past 25 yards....He has happy feet like Kyle Boller, he doesnt know how to step up in the pocket and should have scrambled on the INT.... I think we have reached the ceiling with Andy...We need to send a 2nd to DC for back up for 2014 or get 1 high in the draft.... Andy is no more than John Kitna 2.0. He will be a HUGE deficiency in 2013. If Im wrong then I will man up in December.....

The Secondary.....Questions all day....Hall has to improve..Newman gets older and older by the day...Pacman is an injury waiting to happen....Ghee and Kirptatick everytime they tackle they get concussions...Prater didnt look like shit, Lewis-Harris is OK but got hit with the PI.....Nelson is cool but SS is a big ole piece of SHIT!

The 3 question marks on the team...And all 3 can put a team drafting at the top of rd 1 in 2014.

Can we improve???? Do We improve???

Record reduced to 9-7 in 2014 and no playoffs. Talk to me in December....I will reanalyze after game 8.

11-5 record, and Andy Dalton wil be just fine. Dalton has looked good so far this preseason to me.

People bitch he is too conservative and does not take a chance down field with tighter coverage, so when he does he will wind up with a few more turnovers. You can't have it both ways. If he is goign to risk more throws into tighter coverage, than you have to be prepared for more turnovers. That throw down field was actually a very good, very accurate throw, but the guy trailing the WR undercut the play and just made a hell of a play. Andy tried for more downfield in tighter coverage, and failed, but this is preseason, and if you are going to plan on doing it more in the regular season, you need to practice it in preseason.

Bernard should start at RB.

I think the OL will be serviceable, especially with the two TE sets, where the TE can either help block or go out for a pass.

Secondary was the same last year, and while they are another year older, they do nto look any slower to me so far in the first 3 preseason games. Kirkpatrick struggled more than he should have, and the backups are dinged, but this is a quality secondary. Besides, what makes this secondary is the pass rush, preventing the secondary players from having to cover for very long. If that DL stays healthy, our secondary will remain decent, around 10th in the league. Iloka is going to be a good player, I am not worried about him. He made a stupid mistake, he learned from it, he looked really good in the first game against Atlanta. Marvin thought he looked good enough to give him the starting job before even the first preseason game. So of all our safeties, Iloka is the logical choice, and should be ready with a wrap or small cast to protect it coe opening day.

ILoka is going to miss a BOATLOAD of tackles playing with a soft cast and a broken bone in his hand...You cant focus and make tackles..he will be worried about tackling all the time....I bet you Crocker has called the FO...LOL

Not necessarily. He has one other hand free, and if you wrap up properly, full grip with one hand and complete wrap up with other arm around the waist, slide to hips, and then pull the rope tight, players legs do not continue to move with a rope tied around them. Besides, he only needs to hold them up long enough for Burfict to turn around down field and then take his mother f'n head off from trying to fight through it.

And my predictions have been spot on for 3 of 4 seasons.... 09, 11 & 12. 9-7 in 2014 and Marv takes a GM position or walks... Zimmer for HC in 2014! Gruden will be gone and Hugh Jackson takes over as OC...

Your 2014 Bengals.....

My 60 year old mother who is 5'7 and 90 pounds would look better than Ifeanyi Ohalete.

Both guys would not be in "football" shape and would look worse than a one armed Iloka.

My predictions....

Marvin Lewis doesn't go anywhere.

Zimmer gets a HC job.

Gruden improves his stock, but doesn't get HC job yet.

11-5 and division winners

Being in good shape is also different than being good at football. Crocker and Rhodes are not good at football.

Rhodes is better than any safety we have next to Nelson..he had 6 INTS last year...Rhodes is better than Iloka, Miles, Mays and Williams put together....

That is because when offenses throw at a certain guy 30 times a game, he is bound to wind up with a few picks. I mean, he had one pick didn't he where the ball just hit him in the facemask and got stuck there? I mean, he looked like Wylie Coyote running around after one of ACME scud missles reversed directions and landed smack dead in his face. BOOM! I am just kidding.

However, there is a real reason why Rhodes doesn't have a try out, more less a job in the league anymore.

You might be a better safety than anyone we currently have on the roster.

Rhodes is out of work for a reason. He's not good.

This is starting to remind me of the Jeff Faine talk all over again.

Or it could be because he is gay. Teams don't want that media circus. I'm pretty sure I read that PFF ranked him very well last season.

Edit:

Rhodes started 15 games for the Cardinals last season, finishing with four interceptions, two forced fumbles and a sack. ProFootballFocus.com ranked him as the league's No. 4 safety in 2012. He has the ability to start for teams and represents a likely bargain signing this late in the game.
