Something smells fishy here.. He opted out of 10 million to take a lot less?
OK the Nets have my full attention now. Thats a solid squad they are putting together.
He probably was just bought a 10m mansion in Russia...

lol, hm. maybe 2nd or 3rd in the east now...?
Yep. Thats what I'm thinking. Still have to see them play but I'm impressed.
I was kind of thinking the same thing. Not sure if there is anything in the CBA preventing something like this happening. The Nets will surely be an interesting team this season.

Still 4 th IMO.
Sweet another reason why they will just lose in the second round.
Is it just me or are the Nets going to be a tough team this year?
Turn the clock back a couple of years on this squad and you have the Celtics big 3 front line of Parish, Mchale and Bird. I wonder if he will start over the Truth. Is it just me or are the Nets going to be a tough team this year?
my thought as well. course the wild card in that mix imo is how the Bulls look with Drose back. if he's at full strength the Bulls could figure in...
so i'd guess the first look at it for the final 4 in the conference would be...
Heat
Bulls
Pacers
Nets
not in that particular order. too bad, because I was expecting the Knicks to maybe look better, but now i'm starting to doubt it...
The rules for all owners is the same.
You cant pay players secondary salaries.
Otherwise the Big 3 would take a 4M or whatever basketball salary and get paid 15M each to make cruise ship commercials.
Proving it is a totally different story though in this case.
