Something smells fishy here.. He opted out of 10 million to take a lot less?

Exactly or there is a large bag of cash sitting somewhere in a family members house in Russia.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Not sure if there is anything in the CBA preventing something like this happening. The Nets will surely be an interesting team this season.

Sweet another reason why they will just lose in the second round.

Is it just me or are the Nets going to be a tough team this year?

Yep. Thats what I'm thinking. Still have to see them play but I'm impressed.

my thought as well. course the wild card in that mix imo is how the Bulls look with Drose back. if he's at full strength the Bulls could figure in...

so i'd guess the first look at it for the final 4 in the conference would be...

Heat

Bulls

Pacers

Nets

not in that particular order. too bad, because I was expecting the Knicks to maybe look better, but now i'm starting to doubt it...

The rules for all owners is the same.
You cant pay players secondary salaries.
Otherwise the Big 3 would take a 4M or whatever basketball salary and get paid 15M each to make cruise ship commercials.

Proving it is a totally different story though in this case.

I am sure there is. Even mexican soccer has laws against it. (One of my life goals is to own a soccer team that dominates so did a little research on "bending" the rules :D)

Still 4 th IMO.

But a very strong 4. East looks tough, Bulls, Indy, LOLKnicks, Nets and of course the Champs. If Cleveland is healthy they might be in this discussion. I think there are only 3.5 with title shots though. Bulls ish, Indy, Heat...Nets.

Sweet another reason why they will just lose in the second round.

hahaha :D

Next time I will refresh first :D

Turn the clock back a couple of years on this squad and you have the Celtics big 3 front line of Parish, Mchale and Bird. I wonder if he will start over the Truth.

I think you have the right order if Rose is healthy.
The Bulls will put more emphasis on the regular season then the Pacers will.

Does this apply to something that happens in Russia? I can some murkiness when dealing with a foreign entity.
