I don't know about the Vikings RT situation, but Peterson would probably run for 2500 yds behind Smith. the guy just mauls people in the running game..

he's not really a top flight pass blocker in my eyes, but he's good enough at it. he's a good RT, and you could probably slide him over to Guard on the right team and he's be an all pro there for 10 yrs..

i know he gets beat by speed rushers, and i know there's question on his work ethic, but i'm shocked he's not highly sought after in FA.

I thought PFF said he only gave up 3 sacks all season. I could be wrong. Not that he didn't give up pressures against the QB, but if that 3 number is correct, I doubt he had many issues against even the speed rushers.

I might be going on a bias.

I remember him getting beat like a drum in the Broncos game. not sure if he gave up any sacks, but he looked outclassed on a couple plays

The problem for Andre and his agent is that the rest of the league likely thinks the same thing as Cincinnati, he's not getting 9 million. The market shows he'll likely get a little over 8, and I think Andre and Co still think he's going to get 9. This smells less like a MB lowball and more like a delusional player and agent.

Andre's looking at this like he produced all 4 years like last year, and there were never any injury/weight/conditioning issues. Everybody is nervous about handing him guaranteed money.
