Redskins GM Scot McCloughan said fourth-round pick Jamison Crowder will challenge Andre Roberts for snaps at slot receiver this season.
Head coach Jay Gruden also sees Crowder as a game-changer on special teams. A strong training camp could put Crowder ahead of Roberts, who finished last season 86th out of 110 qualified receivers in PFF's rankings. Washington's passing game still runs through DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garçon, so don't expect much fantasy value from Crowder in his first season.
