No room for him now. With the Stevie Johnson trade.

Well the only way they would even consider it (and keep in mind this is never-gonna-happen stuff) is if they traded Michael Crabtree for him. They're not gonna add a receiver to this bunch without subtracting one. And Boldin has no trade value.

I don't blame him. The Texans don't seem to be taking the QB position seriously. They might still try to get Mallett, but is he worth a draft pick when he's going to be a free agent next year?

A guy like Johnson can fit in most NFL offenses if not all.... I can see Dallas trying to be a player(of course in the not gonna happen world)

unfortunately we don't have the space.... unless we moved Crabtree... Johnson Boldin SJ... could be a triple threat if distributed properly

I agree. He's frustrated and I don't blame him. Texans defense willl be good, but will they score enough oints? Maybe he's someone to consider next year if the Niners do not resign Crabtree.

This guy is 33 and has like $35 million left on his contract, no thanks.

The way I read it is he is 32, has $45M remaining on his last 3 years with roughly half of that guaranteed.
Way too expensive to trade for.

I admire Andre Johnson as a player. He's one of the few top WR's who plays his heart out and never talks trash. I hope he gets a chance to play in the big game before he's done. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Colts uniform.

Where are you getting the 45mil from?

From everything I'm looking at he's due 6.5 in '14, 10.5 in '15, and 11 in '16. ~28mil over the last three years. ~9mil average. Are you talking about 45mil including escalators/performance-based?
