Any chance that he gets cut by the Cavs???

They have Tristan Thompson as their cornerstone power forward and Spencer Hawes is a younger and better offensive center.

Maybe it's wishful thinking...but Miami could use an Anderson Varejao to bang in the middle and grab some boards. He's a high motor player like Joakim Noah and Lebron is definitely familiar with him

Wouldn't be eligible for playoffs anyway, deadline was Saturday. Dude has had a very good career though.

High energy guy, but can't stay on the court.

I would love to have him on the cheap, but chances are someone with cap space will over pay him.

Just looked and he's getting almost $10 million next year. He won't see that kind of money on his next contract.

Totally agree, but I doubt he's down to a veteran minimum type contract and chances are that's all the Heat will have room for,

It won't happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Lakers get him at the right price.

Yeah, somewhere in between. Contracts are going to be a lot smaller for most NBA player given the current CBA. The superstars will get their due, but the average player is not going to see the large paychecks that they have in the past.
