You're complaining about the player. I do this thread every year immediately following the draft. Crazy is not the word, the chances of Amerson falling to 32 is better than it is for San Fran being the team that selects at pick # 32. If you're going to nitpick, choose that to nitpick about...

Pick #32? The 9ers plan on trading back in the 1st round?

I did this part to be ironic sir

though I did not do a good job pointing out that I was being ironic with my post.

still think Alex Smith is a stop gap and doubt Kap or Johnson will show enough to make us feel comfortable?

so if we trade up SAY more than eight spots, it would have to be for a QB. if 'small' trade up, then a key spot such as LT, NT, or CB possible? anyways, we'll be looking hard for QB first and foremost. i'd use a lot of the 2013 draft picks if thats what it took to get a QB prospect.

if no QB prospect they REALLY like, we'll do similar to this draft.

Just thought of something, is there a 3-4 base defense that plays its home games indoors???

I think this what the colts are trying to do. random yes, immaterial, no.

It's super early, but I'm not extremely excited about any prospects in this next draft like I was about AJ Green, Patrick Peterson, Aldon Smith, Matt Kalil & Luck.

I'm gonna keep a close eye on the giant Kwame Geathers. NT could be a need next year.

Next year is as good if not better than this year's class with the exception of the rb position. I don't see the depth at that position. Other than that I see big time prospects coming out next year. Bruce Matthews son (Clay's cousin) is as good as Kalil IMO. Kawan Short is a monster...I like Poe better but this kid could be special too - I hope he adds a bit more weight this spring. Hankins is another interesting NT that could bring instant impact for us. This year was special for the CB position. However, next year could have 3-4 corners go in the 1st round again.

The QB position is not as spectacular as a LUCK / GRIFFIN type level, but there will be 4 or 5 QBs good enough to be immediate good starters in the league (Flacco / Ryan like prospects). Barkley, Tyler Bray, Aaron Murray, Keith Price, Landry Jones, and every year there's one unnamed guy who's gonna make a splash during the collegiate season propelling him into type 5 pick consideration (this year it was Giffin, last year it was Cam Newton).

I'd even trade both of our 3rd round picks and our 1st round pick in 2013 to move high enough to draft someone like Matt Barkley. If that's not enough, I'd give our 1st in 2014. If Tyler Bray goes # 1 overall, I wouldn't mind settling for Barkley with the # 2 pick

Jeff Tuel of course

I wouldn't mind him in the 2nd round. I'm not totally sold on him to give him a 1st round grade...not just yet. I don't see enough velocity in his passes

So you see us picking in the top 10 next season?
