Yeah the goal should have counted but the Kings didn't get the call. You have to overcome calls like that. Better puck control through the first 2 periods and it wouldn't have come down to that. Were it a reviewable call it no doubt would have been called a good goal. Apparently the ref considered Gaborik's contact with Andersen was his doing and not the action of the Duck that shoved him.

Rob Martell was also part of officiating crew the night the Red Wings scored on a shot 25 feet up off the net. :L

stop with the conspiracy theories. It's already been proven in that game that Martell's sole job was to watch the net and indicate if the puck was in the net, which he did. It was the other ref & linesmen job to follow the puck.
