Rock Strongo
My mind spits with an enormous kickback.
Stolen from my ride home last night on local radio, but i thought it deserved notice here.
When we all watched the pats comeback Sunday, us pats fans kinda felt it would happen. Just the way things broke. dropped INT, fumble recovery, etc...
According to PFR, this is what the comparison looks like between Brady and Rodgers, in games decided by 7 pts or less (regular season)...
Brady:
95 games
66-29 record (wins about every 2 out of 3)
then you get to the stats...
62.7% completion
158 TD/82 INT
89.6 rating
196 sacks (.48 per game)
Rodgers:
59 games
31-28 record (lets call it barely .500)
then you get to the stats...
62.9% completion
112 TD's/36 INT (thats awesome)
97.3 rating
165 sacks (.35 per game)
so, brady wins a lot more...a lot more...but performs at a lesser level than rodgers. rodgers, for how mobile he is, still gets sacked at a similar rate in these circumstances.
in general, when down, rodgers is a 98.3 rating guy. brady when trailing?
90.9
a lot of food for thought...
