I couldn’t make it through the first 20 mins or so of Cloud Atlas, but others have raved about it, so I give it a break.

His pre-Oscar stuff is really light-hearted, but he was always good in them.

It was a long time ago and I haven't rewatched it as a mature adult but I remember "Joe vs. the Volcano" as being a possible answer.

I liked that movie. It was so over the top, it was just weird as hell.

Now my favorite actor...

Tom Hanks

Castaway
Saving Private Ryan
Forrest Gump
Toy Story (combine all of them)

He has been basically good/great in everything he has done. But these, for me, are at the top of his list.

what? no Big?

Leatherface

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2
Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III
The Return of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the remake)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

He would have kicked Halloween's Hockeymaskface's ass.

I think Joe Pesci is a tough actor to pick for best role. I think I'd go with Casino due to the complex nature of his relationships.

Kirk Cousins played a totally convincing role of pretending to be a good quarterback.
