But I am here to tell you that by the end of the 2014 College Football season, there will be a different kind of light shined upon Ameer Abdullah. He is going to be the face of College Football, and he is going to be the reason why Nebraska's Offense is sustaining drives this season. He is going to be the reason why the 3-and-outs aren't happening. He is going to be the reason why we are able to get this team to a positive mark in the turnover category.

Yes, Abdullah becomes a late 1st round pick after this season. Mark it down. Stamp it on your ass. You might as well tattoo this shit to your forehead......because it is fucking happening......and I guarantee it.

That's okay, I understand why you don't understand.

But the fact is, Ameer Abdullah will be sitting in New York for the Heisman Award Ceremony, and it will be obvious by the end of this upcoming season why he came back for his Senior season.

Ameer wasn't born with his abilities......he grew a chip on his shoulder, and he worked his way to this point. He is ready to prove to the world what he is truly worth. He is a square peg that he pounded into a round hole so hard until he finally fit the bit.

He will shock the world. Get ready for it. I guarantee it.

I'd agree with you on ALL of this except for one thing. And here, it's just my opinion---I don't trust the OL coaches. I don't think it was just a coincidence that we had all those OL injuries last year. Our coaches still haven't mastered the ability to teach run blocking AND pass blocking. Having said that, I don't see Abdullah doing any better than last year. Why? Because I think that old injury bug is going to crop up with the OL line again. Again, just my opinion.
