Yeah I know you're not making persona;, it's all good. I agree with you, I thought William's ranking was really weird by Polian. I assume Saffold ultra low grade had to do with injury problems. Don't get me wrong I really wanted to bring him back, I think our team is better when hes playing OG (which we all kinda agree he's a better OG than OT) and I'm glad its a multi-year deal. That tracker it better for just seeing who is signing who then the actual integrity of the rankings, I agree.

But it would've been nice to bring in a few of those defensive players (there were a lot of pretty good DBs out there and a few nice LBs). There were also a few good OTs out there that we should've have ATTEMPTED to sign! I'm looking at the 9ers, the Hawks, and even the Cardinals and they have all brought in better players, hell, the 9ers lost their Safety and bring in one who is probably a little bit better! AND THEY DIDN'T BREAK THE BANK DOING IT! The Cardinals not only brought in Veldheer to play tackle, they also brought in Dywer (a younger cheaper replacement for the retiring Mendenhall) and Ted Ginn! I'm not saying we should bring in Ted Ginn or anyone like that, but there is a few players who would be able to help our team and it really seems we're not putting any effort into free agency. Again, Saffold fell back into our hands. We're in [probably] the best division in football, and not only is it the best, its growing the quickest and all the teams are young! I like to take pride our division, and it was a joke for a long time, that is not the case anymore, if we're not getting better, we're getting worse.

Veldeer is a solid signing, even if his former team let him walk in favor of Saffold. Dwyer and Ginn are fringe players at best. Ginn is a return specialist, and valuable at that, but is a fringe WR. Dwyer won't start for the Cardinals. I'll take re-signing Dunbar over both of those moves personally. You didn't mention the Cards signing Carlson, who I think is a better signing than Ginn and Dwyer though.

Arizona is also a better team than us. My point isn't which players they are getting, more of the fact that they are going out there and trying to get players THEY feel will help their team. They're also now looking at Cromartie to add with Peterson! We might as well at this point forfeit all of out division games so our players don't accidentally get hurt. I know thats a little extreme, but AT THIS POINT we're not getting better. And I love the draft as much as anyone else, but seriously, we're banking heavily on rookies if that is the game plan, we're already one of the youngest teams in the league (I think the youngest), we need a little veteran leadership so our players can develop.

Cromartie was rated about as poorly as Finnegan last year. Just because a guy is available doesn't mean he is an upgrade.

Rams should add a veteran safety (Clemons?), that would be a definite help. A vet CB wouldn't hurt either. The OL positions have been pretty well picked over, which is why the Rams are looking at dreck like Linval Joseph. I wish the Rams would bring in Henry Melton, but no dice thus far.

Much respect!

reports have been the Rams have been interested in players, I just think a lot of players don't want to come here. Take a look at Valdeer and Geoff Swartchz (sp) So we have the Giants/Cards Vs. the Rams as a possible destination.

Giants, last 7 years they have won two superbowls. Also located in NY at a state-of-the-art new stadium. They also were willing to overpay a little. Sure they might not be the best team right now but NY is always a plus as far as destination is concerned.
Cards, While in AZ (not the greatest place) but scottsdale is a nice city with a new stadium, also a team thats on the rise. And on the Rise quickly. I wouldn't be surprised is they're the 2nd best team in the division next year.
Rams, have an old dark stadium thats kind of run down, they were last place in their division and St. Louis (no offense) isn't the funnest town in the world. Outside of St louie there's not much to do. lol.
Also the Rams were the worst team in their division, in the toughest division in the NFL, and a team that has the most question marks surrounding it in the division.
QB??? Can he stay healthy?
WR??? When will they "get it"?
OL??? Can Saffold and Long stay healthy?

The Rams have been actively looking for FA, however we can't overpay. We don't want to be in the same situation as say Dallas, or the Steelers next year. And commend our FO for staying diligent.

Uh, jacobarch, the stadium here in Phoenix is indeed new but it does not reside in Scottsdale. The stadium is in Glendale, dude. Just thought you might like to know.
