Construct a starting lineup including a sixth man with players that you feel are undervalued/underrated or don't get as much pub as they should.

Note: ONLY INCLUDE A MAX OF ONE PLAYER FROM YOUR FAV TEAM.

C: Nikola Vucevic
PF: Paul Millsap
SF: Gordon Hayward
SG: Danny Green
PG: Eric Bledsoe

Sixth Man: Brandon Knight.

What you fools got?

I like that list a lot. Wouldn't put Hayward on there though. The guys contract alone shows he isn't underrated in the grand scheme.

Is he even underratd at this point?

Everyone is talking about him and blowing there load like something we havn't seen since Linsanity.

Luckily Whiteside can keep it up. I would say he was underrated, but now everyone is giving him props and talking about him.

If he does it for an entire year I'll put him on. But at that point he probably wouldn't even be underrated. haha

VUCH!! He's so damn good. Just on a shitty team. Reminds me a little of when Marc Gasol was on Memphis when they were a doormat.

Whiteside is a great example of why such a list is fluid. Several weeks ago he would have belonged on an underrated list. Now? Not so much.

I think he's earned that contract. He fills up the stat sheet extremely well. One of the most well-rounded players in the league imo.

But ya, I agree Mr.Hockey... the list would be much more interesting if I restricted it to people making less than 10MM annually.

Yeah my point was more so just that he's getting paid a ton so at least his play has been rewarded. I definitely think he has been pretty worthy of it so far. Liked him since college very nice player.

Actually love the Vucevic nomination though. I have been a fan of him for a couple years now hes such a quality player.

PG Mike Conley
SG Aaron Affalo -- I think his defense is way underrated by most fans
SF Mr. Swaggy P
PF Al Horford
C Hasaan Whiteside

6th man: Al Jefferson --- He has never made an all-star game. This is flat out a crime. Most underrated player in the NBA today, and possibly last decade.

I like the inclusion of Danny Green a lot, I don't think people realize how good he is because he's on the Spurs. Solid player on both sides of the court.

I feel the same about Draymond Green. Curry and Thompson get all the attention, but Green does everything, a lot of it doesn't show up in stats.

For starters mine would look like:

PG: Brandon Knight
SG: Wes Matthews
SF: Tobias Harris
PF: Draymond Green
C: Markieff Morris

Morris is kind of a cop out at the C, but I love his game. Haven't heard anyone on a national broadcast mention Harris' name, but he can ball. Wes Matthews is one of my favorite SGs. Knight is quietly becoming a really good player, building off a good season last year. Draymond almost doesn't qualify here since he's getting tons of recognition, but there's so many ways he impacts a game it's ridiculous.

He's a FA this summer along with Leonard. Don't think San Antonio will overpay to keep him... wonder where he ends up. He could be a nice get for a team that needs a solid wing.

I like it. Matthews has been putting up damn good #'s for years and never gets much respect. Draymond Green has quickly turned into one of the best all-around players in the NBA. He does everything. Literally. Glad Kerr is using him appropriately even with the log jam at SF/PF Golden State has.

And Morris does play the 5 sometimes, but he's definitely more of a 4 even though he's 6'10" and built like an MMA fighter. He has really been the unsung hero for Phoenix this year. Everyone always talks about our PG's but Markieff could honestly be our most valuable player. When he's got it going... we win.

Name one team in the league that can do without someone like Draymond Green on the bench or in the starting 5. Give me just one! Look, he is not the G.O.A.T but the kid goes H.A.M every time he hits the floor. What he brings that most people over look or do not know how to properly explain is chemistry. Swallow that, chemistry is what I truly believe that he provides more than anything. Forget hustle. Forget overall knowledge of the game. The ability to make people around him play as a unit (although not being the best player on the floor) is grand. That is why I value him so highly. And that is why I am all but sure that he'll make at least $12M next year for the Dubs (see ya' David Lee, it's been real).

Pekovic for Minny, when healthy,is pretty darn good. The average fan probably doesn't know who he is either.

It's funny because in my OP I said don't put more than 1 player from your fav team and now Knight & Bled are together. I've liked B-Knight for a while, hope they re-sign him.
