The thread title is all time undrafted. Obviously hall of famers would be included, but it doesnt mean its a requirement.

In the original post he even had asterisks denoting who is in the hall of fame and who isnt. I see the confusion though. The first part of my post was in regards to why there is a descepency with the numbers in 6th round hall of famers. The second part was a question in regards to whether flutie was eligible for addition to this thread. I checked and flutie was drafted in the 11th round, so hes not eligible.

Yes, I know that, but when Bablyon posted HOFs by round, the conversation changed and thats what I was responding to. The NFL tweet from Bablyon says 2 6th rounders are in the Hall, the HOF.com says there's only 1, and you replied to me, talking about Brady and Flutie. Now Brady was a 6th rounder, and YES he will be in rhe HOF, so I can see why he's mentioned, along with this part of the conversation, but not with the OP as you are now using that as to what you're talking about, as for Flutie he's not in the Hall and he was drafted so he doesn't belong to any part of this discussion.

Adam Thielen is working up the list slowly.

The one thing that you will see when looking at most of these players (not all) is that it takes a LONG time for them to start producing.

And the list of players currently in the league is a lot less impressive than a historical look back. That standardization of scouting and with so much info being out there there is a lot less talent that goes undrafted these days. A lot of times the talented players that go undrafted went undrafted because teams didn't have the players on their draft board because of character issues. This year most undrafted Marvin Williams is the perfect example.

You would think hall of famers by round would decrease, but from the 7th round+ and undrafted free agents they do better than every round except first two. Is it because of small school ignorance?

FYI at one time the draft went 30 rounds as recently as 1992 it went 12 rounds, so all those on round 8 or later has a whole lot more players who have a shot at the HOF. I'll admit it's interesting that round 7 has more than rounds 5 and 6. I can't explain it but maybe teams are taking guys there with lots pf talent but are injury/discipline questions, instead of waiting to fight other teams in UDFA market

Can't leave out a HOFer like him.

And Shell should have been inducted long ago, with the rest of the 70's Steelers. 2020 was too long to make him wait.

I used to play the pony's well and did it a lot.
One key to making money is to know your horses very well.
That means a small number of hourses very well not all the horses a little.
Draft scouts can't possibly know enough about all players available. The "borrow" quite a bit of info.
In so doing, most are thinking along the same lines and missing the same players - players not so obvious.
