This one is actually a lot closer than I first realized... Gore has been around 2 more seasons than Peterson but its fair to say that AP's starting career is over. In their prime I would take Peterson easily. But if we're talking overall career... Gore is a model of consistency. 9 seasons over 1k yds rushing, whereas AP had 7. The suspension & injury in '14 & '16 really derailed AP's career.
