How come the AL is the home team? I'm confused

NL is hosting it 4 straight years (2015-2018). We'll see what they do in the coming seasons to even things up. I assume the Orioles will host again soon as they haven't since 1993, also the Blue Jays haven't since 1991. I doubt the A's will until they build a new stadium. Dodgers haven't hosted since 1980. Rangers will host once their stadium is built, and Citizens Bank Park will get the new stadium treatment eventually
