personally i think giroux is gonna be taken in the top 5, just have a hunch, and i feel danny is gonna slip to the bottom of the draft.

also think they will be picked to the same team.

There were eight forwards by my count that should have gotten in ahead of Skinner and two of them are Flyers. You just wonder how the team with the best record in the Nhl at the All-Star break only has two players in the game. That is a complete joke.

Skinner was already on the rookie squad. He's had a fine season, but it was a stretch to name him a full on All-Star at the age of 18.

I guess you can't blame Staal for being a homer and picking all of his teammates, relatives and associates for his team because the Nhl was not shy about loading up the All-Stars with hometown players. How does 9th place Carolina end up with three All-Stars and we lead the Nhl and have two? That's pretty ridiculous...lol

I know we have a balanced team and all, but you could make a case for Richie or Carter and guys like Pronger and Bobrovsky nearly got in on votes alone.

This was set up as a hockey event and not all the people there warranted being there. I didn't expect too much from the draft process, but I thought they did a great job and it was actually a lot of fun to watch. Can't wait to see how the rest of the weekend shakes out.

That makes sense. Considering he's easily the best passing forward in the game....they had to get him off the ice before the score got ridiculous. :p
