Solid list to me, Leonard belong on the 1st team especially with the season he had.

No one overlooked him. He had a great late season push, but for the majority of the season he was underwhelming. He may have a shot next year if he's more consistent.

Since when did HARDEN become so disliked by the media.

He had a monster statistical year and did make the playoffs

And the idea that he doesn't play defense suddenly makes him worse than freaking Kyle Lowry??

I know it is fashionable to just bag on him for whatever reason.

But, the guy deserves to be at least 3rd team all NBA.

I disagree.

Defense is half the game and Lowry's team is much better. If you took Harden off the Rockets, I am not sure they would be any worse. His offensive numbers are great, but he one of two big reasons the Rockets underachieved this year and he does not deserve all NBA accolades.

There are quite a few players who got left off the list who I think are more deserving than Harden.

Lowry is only marginally better at defense, but his offense lags considerably.
But, if the argument is that you need defense....I will buy that argument.

But, Why the heck is Damian Lillard on there if defense is the case?
Lillard is a significantly worse defender than Harden.
IMO he is the worst defender in the entire league on most nights relative to minutes and usage.

Almost every single statistical category he loses to Harden.
As for winning, he won exactly 3 more games then did Harden.

Is it because Chris Paul, Blake, and the entire Clippers team leading (2-0) with 2 blowouts all got fluke injuries?
They would have lost (4-0) had the Clippers not all got hurt.
That seems to be the only reason.

I am not a HARDEN apologist, but he clearly deserves at least 3rd team all NBA.

It is not just his defense. The way he approaches the game is like a slap in the face to basketball purists. It isn't that he can't play defense, he does not try for long stretches. On offense, he dribbles the air out of the ball while his teammates stand and watch. It is terrible basketball.

It's one thing to not be a very good defender, some just aren't. But even guys who aren't good defenders can at least put forth an effort and become decent team defenders working within a system. Magic is a good example of that kind of player. He wasn't locking anyone down 1 on 1, but he was decent within the Lakers system.

To not even try, like Harden...unacceptable.
