Maybe Morris is the kind of guy who wants to play on a contender -rather than to just wring the most money he can out of the game.

You mean more like Crash...and less like me?!

I'm sure Mr. Springstein your international reputation would differ with your self description here.

There is a fine dividing line in each individual - down which you slide one way or the other. Either you look out for yourself or you are drawn to the proposition that you want to belong to something bigger than yourself. The players who want to be part of something bigger - are willing to compromise some of their self- interest - in order to accomplish the greater result. Selfish players collaborate less and are less likely to identify with the larger group or develop empathy. Players who will compromise their personal interest in favor of the group - collaborate - empathize and identify with the group - they are teammates.

I'd say - the Broncos are correct to look for that kind of character to be members of their football team. It is equally true that the difference between the selfish player what will take and what the unselfish player is willing to take in compromise is not that great a distance by dollar measurement.

@randymon I would be shocked...Shocked I tell you if Morris cost as much as Miami is offering Anderson. The further we get into FA the less these guys all make. He is not a hot commodity with how little playing time and some of his struggles over the last year or two. These are the type of guys that Elway loves to get though that are entering their prime years in the league that have maybe had some struggles for whatever reason. Buy low and sell high. We did this with Knighton. We did this with Emmanuel Sanders. We did this with Darian Stewart.
