Yeah that is another bonus in the last 2 years since Gruden took over they have hardly used him. My guess is getting back into the system that he thrived with a chance to start would be something he would really want to be a part of.

Not sure I get you guys sometimes. You preach not to over pay, that Denver is great and proven to find running backs later in draft, in Kubiaks system you don't have over pay for a RB ,etc, etc and then you get all giddy about a rb that's sure to cost much more than what it would cost Denver to match Miami's offer and he's two yrs older than CJ. Not sure I see that big of difference between the two anyway, skill set wise. I guess I'm missing something here. No offense intended. Just curious

^ I think Morris can be had at a low cost. He's not exactly a hot commodity unless he is a good fit for a certain system. This is evident in his production and role dropping off from Shanahan to Gruden. He is a good fit for the Broncos system but the Broncos benefit from his limited market value because he's not a universally heralded back. He's a good fit and likely inexpensive. He's got good size but is much faster than Anderson. I think he'd go for 1400+ even behind a marginal o line in the Broncos offense.

I don't know of a team wanting a guy that has not done anything in 2 years and pay 6 mill the first year ...

I would gladly draft and skip both

Think your mistaken that Morris will be had for less than CJ. Guess we`ll find out though wherever he goes.

That's the the hardest part to predict. Contract. This year has been crazy. I guess the salary cap going up maybe has something to do with it? At any rate I think Morris can be had reasonably and can be a huge contributor in this offense. Not at all worried about his decline under Gruden because Kubiak runs the same system Shanahan ran where Morris gained ~2900 yards in 2 seasons.

Not before Denver does though :) Some pretty deep pockets out there still to swallow up the good ones that Elway won`t over pay for. Sure hope the guys on the current roster that are going to need to step up comes to be. :)

I don't think Morris will command much around the league, but his value is certainly undetermined at this point.

What the Broncos do is - they get with a guy early - out line a deal with him -and encourage him to look around at other deals and see if that adds up to the same package they have offered. Just do the Broncos the courtesy of checking back with them if they get another deal they like better. Maybe Morris is the kind of guy who wants to play on a contender -rather than to just wring the most money he can out of the game.
