Looks like one to keep your eye on. A bit early though to pass a judgement

All I know is the coaches are high on him, he had a great college career, and everytime I read a blog, its like, ''Escobar drops a pass from Tanney, Williams drops a pass, Randle drops a pass..''. Oh, and he starred in a cool video

His issue is touch on the ball.... accurate... but you dont want a 90mph ball 5 yards out..

The real thing with him is how he will face pro pressure..... dude's accuracy is fucking real...... One thing to do it in practice... and another in a game under pressure

I love this fucking kid .... Like I said ... Keep an eye on ... but to early to pass judgement... bust or baby jesus ... we need to see more

That's what I am waiting to see. how he throws when there is a defensive rush. Also if he is intelligent as a qb at recognizing defenses. The video does have me curious though.

He looks kind of like Mallett. Big kid, 6'4'', 220, everythings a fastball. But its a lot easier to teach someone with a big arm touch than trying to add velocity to a college system QB with no gun

lots of big kids with fastballs standing by the ice machine at the corner 7-11.

clip board holder is a great gig if you can land it for a few seasons. Ask Garrett

I'm rooting for the kid. Orton seems to be regressing and to go back to the cap situation.... Letting him go after this season makes sense.... would have been a no brainer at all if we wouldn't have restructured a back ups contract.

I'm just glad there's a young QB with a shot at making the Team. Romo can't play forever, and at some point, you have to start developing someone

I wouldn't say that ....

Montana never had a gun of an arm... He's in anyone conversation as the greatest ever.

Jeff George was opposite and he never figured it out

Vick has the same problem... not as bad as George though.... and has legs that help hide it.

Which I've always said Vick is Jeff George with legs.

So I can't agree on the easier to teach part....

To me, the biggest difference between Montana and George/Vick was what they had between the ears and in their heart. George, no heart whatsoever, and Vick:L. When you have a $100 million contract, you are the Prince of Atlanta, can have any car, house and woman you want, and your idea of fun on a Saturday night is hanging Benji and electrocuting Lassie, theres no hope. Hopefully, Tanney is a ballplayer

I was rooting for him cause that video is awesome. but he went undrafted went to camp with the Bills never got a contract got cut from KC and there are QB needy teams so I wouldnt rest my hopes on him.

we will agree on that .... 100% between the ears.

Just from what I have seen a touch Qb ... is better than a gun ..... Now that said the league has changed and that might not be correct anymore.

Hell out HC,,,, aint have a arm worth a damn. (As far as a gun goes) but he was smart and had touch.... and lasted a long time in the NFL because of it

Go back and watch the Thanksgiving Day comeback.... He was good enough to do just enough ... without making stupid mistakes.

I'll give ya that one on JG....Although he had a pretty decent RB, WR, TE and OL LOL. Of todays Cowboys, only Witten and Dez start on that Offense(though the 90's Cowboys had studs there too)
