His team is 15 in scoring because they are 30th in rushing.

The guy is on pace for 4700+ yards, 70% completion percentage and 30 TDs. If Smith was worth $21 million then Cousin's was worth $28 million.

Today, in one half Cousin's has thrown for 245 yards 84% completion percentage and 2 TDs. His team has failed to convert on 3rd and a half yard and 3rd and 1. His FG kicker has missed 2 FGs. But you keep quoting fans.

Now I will say and have always said he is not the best QB in the league, He is top 5 to 10. But he is certainly better than anything Washington has and now sadly Washing is probably in cap hell due to Smith's injury.

Earl Forcey was another one telling us two weeks ago that we Redskins should be rejoicing in Smith and his 178 yard games and he preferred that to Cousin's. He failed to say the D, the ST and AP were the reasons for winning. You just can't fix stupid.

Colt McCoy is 32 years old and has seen a career that is riddled with injuries. We now have to question if his career has come to an end as well. Sadly, I believe that he has too much pride to attempt a comeback with virtually no hope of winning a starting job and so many questions surrounding his value as a reliable back-up.

No hate but they weren't winning because of Smith. His contribution was not turning the ball over so Tress Way, Peterson and D were carrying the team. That D disappeared. I agree they would be better off with Smith but I don't think they would have been winning lately with the D going in the tank.

Turnovers have had something to do with the defense as well. Sustaining drives and giving the D some rest. No short fields. Alex was mediocre, if not subpar, but the 3 ints in Dallas cost us that game and I still believe if Colt doesn't go down last night we would be in that game till the very end, Smith too.

I just hate it for Alex and this team. Smith going down might cost Jay his job and honestly, I'm not sure there is a better guy out there. The kid who coaches Oklahoma, Flipp? Who would even take this job while Bruce is still here?

Turnovers can affect the defense. That being said, the 14 points Alex was putting up would not have been enough. Also, he had been very fortunate all season to not have more turnovers. Alex also had two picks his last game.
