The NFL really needs to ease up on it's fines. Unless the it's something with a malicious intent like launching a head to head shot, a repeat offender, or a blatant unsportsmenlike conduct penalty than I say the penalty is enough and their is no need for a fine.

Smith getting fine is stupid and so is Pettigrew getting fined for the chop block and those are things that shouldn't be fined. You might as well start fining false starts and holding too.

You can't go high and can't go low... pretty soon, all you'll be able to do is stand on the side of the QB and try to strip the ball.

In all seriousness, he's gone low two games in a row... I'm just glad he hasn't been flagged yet. He needs to learn to go in higher.

The NFL needs to cut the BS and just turn this into a flag football league, since that's what it seems it wants anyways...
