Will be rooting for Cleveland. Would be cool to see that city win two championships in four months after decades of ineptitude.
I think it was Andrew Miller's cleat. My brother was at the game yesterday. Said there were a bunch of obnoxious Blue Jays fans in his section.
Then we had a laugh about what their five hour drive home was like with Chief Wahoo's cleat stuffed up their asses.
thats the thing-- if the Tribe gets a lead i think it starts getting into the Jays hitters heads that they have Miller/Allen looming.I would think they would have gotten a split at least but hey, this is October baseball and Clevelands pitching was just a little better. C'est la vie.I still think this series could go 6 or 7. These two teams are really closely matched. The Jays need to play with a lead so they can neutralize the Miller/Allen factor a little.
true...but we do have a Randy Johnson clone coming out of the bullpen. Corey Kluber is a helluva ace to have too. Top 10 starting pitcher in the big leagues.Bob feller is not coming out of the dug out
As much of a Jays fan as I am, Jose needs to shut his idiot mouth and hit the ball instead of striking out and swinging right through fastballs down the middle of the plate. He has a beef on one pitch in game 1 and nothing else. Joey bats has become Joey whiffs.Jose Bautista says there are 'circumstances' working against Blue Jays in ALCS
In a perfect world the strike zone would be the same for every umpire. It's not though. That's just a fact of life. Bautista feels "circumstances" are working against the Blue Jays? Fine. But don't pout about it. Make the adjustment. The Indians and their pitchers sure have.
I honestly can't wait for Bautista to sign a 5 year deal in Miami at this point. Dude just never stops.
He shakes his head or does that dumb stare every time he gets called looking. Literally every time. As if it is impossible for him to misjudge pitches in his head and everybody else is wrong. It's infuriating. He really is an obnoxious prat.
"Whaaaaaa, the games aren't going the way I want them to. It's a conspiracy!"
I hope this fuels the Indians' pitching staff, and I hope it makes the umps not give Bautista any breaks.
Looks like Salazar will be ready to go when we play in the World Series.
You weren't an Indians fan in 2007, huh?

Also, I'm not sure having Salazar back is such a great thing. He hasn't been exactly dependable since June.
