unbelievable
A lot of our batters usually swing and miss badly on those pitches.Weiters looked like carp in that AB.
He was swinging before the pitcher released the ball on the 3-0 pitch, and was fooled badly on the final pitch.
O'Day is murder on righties, but I think Buck knew it was likely going extras so he wanted to take his chances with Brach/O'Day. With who is on deck, we may see O'day another inning.oday bails buck out
I just don't know how u go down without your best pitcher. britton has to start that inningO'Day is murder on righties, but I think Buck knew it was likely going extras so he wanted to take his chances with Brach/O'Day. With who is on deck, we may see O'day another inning.
Just lucky that Trumbo hit that line drive out of the park. Other than that, our offense has been non-existent. I really wish that most of these guys would be more selective at what they swing at (Jones, Machado and Davis to name a few) instead of free swinging at anything within five feet of the plate.3 combined walks, one was intentional through 10 innings
pretty much sums up these two fatally flawed and undisciplined one-dimensional offenses
If the Orioles lose, they cannot blame their pitching like all the misinformed keeping doing
The Os pitching has been excellent for the last 2 month
The problem is they are free swinging fools who cannot manufacture any run ever
Either it is a homerun or get shutout
I think you got to trust your big dog relievers to go two innings in the playoffs if you really think they're tier 1 like Brach. If it doesn't work out, you had a matchup advantage with O'Day. Maybe I am being an apologist here, but I don't think Britton is neccessary at that time however unpopular it would be if they lost. Have to think extra innings and Liriano isn't that good. Longer this goes the more O's friendly this game is gonna get.I just don't know how u go down without your best pitcher. britton has to start that inning
