On a serious note
it's gotta Trout
it's gotta Trout
It's my friend from Best Buddies. He's now crying after I showed him your post (I don't know why I showed him it, honestly- me and you are both to blame)Not sure if that's Rivers Cuomo or Corky from Life Goes On, either way....
Suck it Omar!
(I just go thru "upload a file" with screen shots. Same as any pic. Via my oldass IPhone.)
I love Trout but werent most of you guys on the other side of the spectrum when Goldy finished 2nd because his team didn't make the playoffs? He clearly was deserving that season, as Trout is this year, but MVP pretty much always goes to the most valuable player on a playoff team. Just how it goes.

I am just so enamored with Trout at this point that I'm angry that anyone would choose anyone besides him, and if they WERE from the "playoff" camp, Donaldson is a much better choice, IMO. Trout is basically the fourth member to the Trinity to me at this point (which wouldn't make it a Trinity, but whatever)
the gap between A-Rod and the rest of the AL field was huge that year. I know WAR isn't a be all end all stat (especially when there's several versions), but Trout has a 1.5 win advantage over the closest guy (Betts) whether you're looking at Fangraphs' version or BB-Ref's.
If Buxton hits exactly like he has the last 7 games.
Not only will he win the next 15 MVPs, but he will be the first unanimous hall of famer.
So, let's give him it this year as well.

If playoffs weren't factored in I'd go:
1A) Betts
1B) Trout
3) Altuve
Trout is on the last place team in that league, clearly he's a loser!
In all seriousness, it's nice to see him doing well right now. Hopefully he's finally got things figured out. I'd hate to see any young player struggle, especially a highly touted one like Buxton.
Minnesota is the last place team in the AL. The Angels aren't even in last place in the AL West; that's the A's.
You know, there are places on the internets that you can look this stuff up.
