@navamind how did Patrick Corbin become a solid pitcher again? He was ass for a few years
his peripherals don't really support the 3.35 ERA. His k/bb ratios aren't any better than they were in 2021-24. He's actually getting fewer ground balls than he has in previous years. The ballpark and AL West ballparks help that somewhat. He's fine as a backend starter, but I imagine his era will be closer to 5 than 4 when all is said and done. Not that weird to see starting pitchers overachieving in a 7 start span

Great bullpen effort today given how little rest they've had and how much they had to account for today. Sox don't have a day off until next Thursday, which kinda sucks.

Can he ditch batting righty and become a permanent lefty?

I think he just needs more reps at righty. Lest we forget he went deep from both sides only a week or so ago. I think he's showing what an adaptable athlete he is. I started the season terrified of him in LF, but he's adapted and is playing much better defense of late. I think the same will happen with his switch hitting
