Ive become a guy that loves CC...Love the guy, once despised him.....Firstly he is the captain of this team, no question about that......And his starts have become so dependable....Never gonna be an 8 shutout guy again, but damn if the Yankees arent in every single game he starts.....Even Severino has his occasional blowup, we know Tanaka and Gray do too often, but CC, chalk up the 5 or 6 innings of 1 or 2 run ball

Oh Dead to me.....Cotton Malone accurately pointed out at the time of the trade, that Gray was so greatly assisted by pitching in that huge ballpark in Oakland, in front of 37 fans......

I do like that Boone is finally not being stubborn and letting Romine catch him tonight, his ERA is far better with Romine....Some of the greatest pitchers ever have had personal catchers...Maddux to Eddie Perez, etc.

In the late 90's, one Yankee pitcher had Molina as his personal catcher, and Posada was benched in October when he pitched, who was that pitcher? I forget, Nasty knows

Jeter H...

Whats your thoughts on Gleyber? I like what I see, his command of the zone is awesome (his first AB aside) just looks like he belongs, and the glove is legit

Andujar legit? Think we are gonna see a trend of pitchers getting him to chase that slider out of the zone

Gleyber's gonna be good..really good. Wasn't crazy about the nonchalant effort on Sanchez' pickoff throw, but he's looked really good outside of that.

Andular has looked even better than I could have hoped. Knew the bat was legit, but he's playing an outstanding 3B also.

Still utterly impressed with how Cashman has completely remade this team since July of 2016.

AJ Burnett.

Nothing new. For years, Andy Pettitte only threw to Jim Leyritz. People forget that too.

His career road ERA is about 1/2 a run lower than his home ERA. Just saying....

I still have hope for Sonny.

Blew me away last night when they said he had the lowest average exit velocity in the league.

They need to figure out how to make him generate quicker outs

Every at bat is like a short film

LOL

Well, according to the Boston Globe, many unnamed scouts say Betts is better.

True Fake News if ever I saw it.

:)

What a joke, I love Betts and it takes a lot for me to love a Boston player, but its time for everyone to stop trying to compare players to Trout, he is a class by himself

First it was Harper, than it was Altuve, and a great week from Betts, so now its Betts

"Didi is better than Trout"

I'm glad the Yanks have won a few but Boone is driving me nuts.

Gray has an ERA 3 runs less with Romine and even though there was a day game Saturday he choose to have Sanchez catch him Friday night.

Tyler Austin should be playing first every day. Walker sucks, isn't hitting and can't play a competent 1st base.

C.C. had a 4 run lead and only had 80 pitches and he takes him out. Let him pitch the 7th. Ok, maybe you want to get Betances in there with the 4 run lead to work through his issues but with this offense there will be plenty of opportunities to do that. With all the injuries to the pen pushing C.C. one more inning to 90 to 95 pitches would have been a good idea

From what I've heard, the scout is Al Percolo....He did bring Steve Nebraska to the Yankees though......
