you bench sanchez, stanton is completely lost at plate, you have major injuries to key players...

its a good way to put your team in a major funk with a manager who has NO experience

I'm going to ask you once again. You do know Gary Sanchez is batting .063 right?

That would never happened.

1) Sanchez calf was still giving him problem.

2) Can't disrespect Stanton to that level.

I'm giving Stanton one more game if I'm Boone before I make changes to the batting order. Probably switch him and Judge

Orioles really made JUDGE and STANTON look like chumps in this series.

But, Brad Brach still sucks.
Brach is a good setup guy in the 8th but he definitely doesn't have a closer mentality.

its too early in season to start benching your best players!

Also too early in the season to start a full-on freakout.

But holy shit, that's one of the most brutal losses in my memory. Blow a 5 run lead, then load the bases with no one out in extras and somehow come up empty with the meat of the order up.

Gut punch level 10.

April 9. April 9. April 9.

LOL

Montgomery coming out there with his F stuff killed us. All we needed from him is to repeat something close to what he did vs Tampa. Give us 5+ allowing 2 runs or less.

It could've been worse too. He got lucky getting out of some early jams, before the wheels came completely off.

Then Boone sticking with Germon a inning too long was stupid.

If D-Rob was available (which I didn't think he would be) then the 7th should have been Betances followed by D-Rob in the 8th.

He's stretched out to be a starter, but yeah, everyone could see he was tiring. Except, apparently, for the manager.

My problem with Boone is he's having too much of a negative impact in these losses. Put in the correct pitchers and make the correct bullpen moves then I can't be mad at him but this was his 3rd bullpen screw up in the first 10 games and 2 of them resulted in losses.
