That's a little harsh. He's a good defensive CF, has pop from the left side, and as mentioned, can draw a walk.

What he's not is a 3 hitter for a championship caliber team.

Great throwing arm. I’d bat him 9th, personally. Cashman did great getting him for nothing. Not so much with the unnecessary 20 year extension for him, though.
