It's such a fragile position in the sport, I'm amazed how some pitchers have such long injury free careers and others are hurt after just a couple hundred innings pitched.....Especially the guys throwing upper 90's.....can't be the best recipe for an arm.....

Then there's guys like Brandon Webb who are one of the best pitchers in the league from 2003-08 and doesn't throw a major league pitch after 2009. Webb made 33+ starts five years in a row and he made 28 in his rookie year (he got called up late April).
