Free Agents for New York Yankees (8): Zach Britton, J.A. Happ, Adeiny Hechavarría, Lance Lynn, Andrew McCutchen, David Robertson, CC Sabathia, Neil Walker

CC probably stays on one year contracts til he retires. Robertson and McCutchen would be nice to keep in the fold

Would love to have Robertson back, but he's gonna want closer money.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the OF. They have about 48 hours now to make a decision on Gardner, and unfortunately Ellsbury is still under contract.

Scranton needs a C.F. Next year, sounds like a good fit for Ellsbury

Yeah, I think the Yankees will keep Mccutcheon as well. I think they'll free up some money to go after Machado, Kuechel or Harper.

Red Sox lefty David Price announced today that he will not opt out of the remainder of his contract with the Red Sox, as Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com was among those to report on Twitter. The 33-year-old starter, who is fresh off of a redemptive run through the postseason for the World Series victors, will earn $31MM for the 2019 season and $32MM annually for the three campaigns that follow.

Gardner continues to be the longest-tenured Yankee, but not at $12M.

The New York Yankees today announced that they have come to terms with OF Brett Gardner on a one-year contract for the 2019 season after declining the 2019 club option on his previous contract.

I would bring back Happ, Britton, McCutch, and CC

We need to get rid of Gardy

Too late. Gardner re-signed for $7M

Happ should be a priority, as well as Corbin.

Britton's gonna go somewhere he can close, and I think McCutchen's going to go somewhere where he knows he'll be an everyday player.

CC will be interesting. They'll make him a 1 year offer based on what they think he's worth, but it wouldn't shock me if someone beats their offer.

Disappointing to hear.

Why wouldn't he be an everyday player here? I would play him over Gardy and Hicks

Over Hicks? Nah. For all the Dirt hate, guy was 5th in baseball, #2 in the AL for CF OPS.

OF's gonna be really crowded. Judge, Hicks, Gardner, Ellsbury, Frazier, and who knows, maybe Harper.
