If AJ Cole doesn't pitch like ass and give up 3 HRs then the Yankees likely find a way to get the W

I wasn't the biggest Joe Girardi fan, but he was so much better at managing a bullpen than this guy.

I completely agree but DeGrom wasn't the greatest. The game was still there for us until Cole came in and was ass. This wasn't your typical DeGrom game.

I once led his fan club, as Cereal will tell you, and i understand there are no clear better options at first
But we are at the point where, isn't anyone a better option now?

Agree on De Grom and nothing more frustrating to me that I recognize that Cole and Holder are the punching bags now that they were supposed to be, despite performing way over their heads for a stretch, but the organization doesn't recognize that

That's funny because I heard that about him when he was on the white Sox. I think the red Sox broadcasters were talking about it during a game against Chicago.

Never saw this team falling apart like this so quickly.....They will limp into the playoffs if they even get there.....Only a few players seem to contribute nowadays and Stanton has been real solid after a rough beginning......Need Judge and Lazy-Boy back ASAP.....

I remember a post game interview he gave late in the season. He knew the srtregths of his pitching staff better than their GM! The yanks did not get better during the offseason, but Boston did!

That's pretty funny. If you're gonna be a dick you need to be Barry Bonds good, or at least John Lackey good. Those guys were good enough to offset the friction their personalities created.

Well they tried. Stanton looked to be a big addition. He's warming up and an improvement (I assume) from what they had, just didn't live up to his contract yet which often happens
