Number is only 4.5, problem is he's never pitched more than 5.2 innings in any start. His K rates say he should hit it, but as you said, KC doesn't strike out that much.

I may lay it on the Panthers and the over instead. That feels like a lock

Still think there's some things to like about Rafaela going forward. The K% currently sits at 20.1%, which is a considerable improvement from 2024 (26.4%). He's hitting the ball harder than he was in 2024 (86.6 EV in 2024; 90.0 in 2025) and he's actually underperforming his xSLG (.402 SLG vs .464 xSLG). If he can slug anywhere near that, it makes up for the meager OBP skills IMO. Even with a 93 wRC+, he's already at 1.8 fWAR (2.4 if you go by bWAR). He's hitting .285/.326/.462 since the beginning of May, .357/.400/.625 since May 27th.
