Talk about nostalgia. I haven't had power since Tuesday night, so I listened to the Yankees clinch against the Royals on a battery powered radio, exactly like I did in 1978.

Only difference was this time I didn't have my parents telling me to go to sleep.

:D

Can you give Boone credit for a great series?

Thanks a lot! You just had to clinch early. I believe Costas be calling this Cleveland game now. I'm sure he won't even talk about the teams playing, just going on and on with one of his bullshit stories.

He didn’t play, but the bullpen was lights out

Holmes much, much better in lower leverage situations, and Weaver doesn't seem scared a bit in the 9th. It's working.

I know he wants a lefty bat in the 4 hole, but Wells is an automatic out lately. Gotta flip him and Chisholm in the CS.,

Agree, Holmes looks different with less stress….Who saw Berti being a savior at 1st base, a position he never played……

Yeah Stanton needs to be in that slot as of monday

I kind of like Stanton at 5, and I like the LRL throughout the lineup-which is why I'd put Jazz in the 4 hole and hit Wells 6th or 7th. Wells is going to be really good, I believe that, but he's a little overmatched at the plate at the moment.

I’m happy to hear as a yanks fan that we’re the favorite to win it all…

Someone care to explain to me how their roster is better than the Dodgers, how they were owned by the Mets reg season , struggle vs Cleveland , barely beat a team not really expected to even be in PS the royals , that they are?

Who wrote the article , a yankees fan…

Angels were 8-1 against the Red Sox in '08

I like your roster better, but that doesn't mean a whole lot in a best of 7.

I agree with that it means nothing in a playoffs series but was a stupid comment from pasta when the Yankees won the season series. Cant come on here making up stuff that clearly is a lie lol

Rodon v. Cobb in Game 1

Bibee v. Cole in Game 2 (likely- not official for Bibee)

Schmidt v. Boyd Game 3 (likely- not official for Boyd)

Gil v. ?? Game 4- I would say the options are Williams and Lively- maybe Cantillo- who really knows.

Need to get some length from Cobb in Game 1 for the Guards- hopefully at least 5 innings- at LEAST 4.

Cleveland would be wise to throw as many lefties as they can.

They're also one of the better teams at hitting LHP

Freaking Rodon. He always gives Cleveland fits. Another guy that has always given CLE fits is Cole. Not thrilled about going against those two guys.
