Yanks did a great job with the Walker signing. $4M for a guy that's been worth ~2 WAR pretty much every year since becoming an everyday player is a steal. Walker's been a steady offensive 2B and has never had an OPS+ lower than 106 and has been an above average offensive 2B every year (per wRC+ and OPS+)
Not much to complain about, but no reason ever for Tyler Austin to play vs RHP
No matter how good he looks vs LHP, he will not duplicate that vs Righties, Boone tried pushing his luck tonight
I wish David Robertson was in more 3-2 counts......He has zero confidence in his fastball and if his curve isn't on.....He's F'd....
Yup, pipes straight fastballs in constantly.....He's not getting the late movement he had last year and those pitches end up far away......Chad Green is concerning, he gets absolutely blistered every time out, that straight heat ain't fooling anyone, even his outs last night had the OF running down shots
Trivia answer has to be Adam Vinatieri.....
My guess is that he played football...Maybe a QB with horse like teeth.....Also, Fred McGriff is from the 81 draft and should be considered for the HOF.....Good call. Could not figure that one out.
I missed the answer to the one the other day-what player drafted by the Yankees in 1981 is in the HOF? No clue there either.

LOL
Elway.
Dammit.
He was toast at the end....Think he finished up with the Rays.....Also never understood why McGriff retired 7 HR short of 500. I guess it's not the milestone it used to be anyway.
