won today, but yeah, just an ugly series. never been so disappointed with a 4 game split

it's just wild to see someone on a 20+ triple pace, especially in today's game

As a stop gap yes. DJ is not the fielder Rizzo is. DJ does not have the power of a normal 1B, but used to have a better average.

Rizzo's hitting .212/.288/.307 with 13 doubles and 8 homers in 434 PA over the last 365 days. he has a lower ISO than LeMahieu has had since the beginning of 2021. I'm not even sure Rizzo can say he has more power at this point, and DJ at least should bring respectable OBP skills.
