1-6 in the playoffs and soon to be 1-7 with the last of their three representatives eliminated.

Nice 'regular season' league. Loaded with a bunch of Mr Aprils.

This is what we get for betting the house on the Orioles.

The Red Sox will make it back eventually, Bro. Then you can reclaim them again. They won't get Ohtani, nor Snell, nor Nola. But they might get Bellinger and/or Yamamoto.
The Patriots, on the other hand, are looking at a lengthy dry spell. Not that I feel sorry for you after the Brady years.
You prolly outta hitch your wagon to the Celtics for the time being. That's what Cereal said, anyway.

At this point, I’m playing with house money anyway. Growing up, I was told that I’d never live long enough to see the Sox win anything. Then they won 4x in 15 years. I’ve seen the Bird/Parrish/McHale era with the Celtics and then the KG/Allen/Pierce era, as well. You’ve already mentioned Brady and the Pats. You can even tack on one title for the Bruins(though they should have won more).

The irony is that I don’t really care much anymore. I stopped watching the NBA after the Celtics traded Garnett and Pierce. I haven’t watched the NHL in many years, either. The Patriots are never on TV here anymore and I’m not paying to watch them. I actually haven’t watched any football(college or pro) at all this season yet. The Red Sox are really the only of my childhood teams that I still care about/follow. I think I got too old for the hero worship somewhere along the way.
