Yeah, she is hot, Swisher is 35 and gets to go home to that, methinks he may retire.

Tanaka may not start opening day

If Masahiro Tanaka doesn't pitch well during Tuesday's exhibition in Clearwater, Joe Girardi said he is "not exactly sure" what it would mean for Tanaka starting the season in the rotation. Girardi does seem open-minded about having someone else pitch Opening Day if Tanaka doesn't "dial it" up on Tuesday against the Phillies. "We have enough people who could pitch" the first regular season game vs. Houston next Monday in the Bronx. Girardi said it is "possible" that Tanaka is thinking about his elbow, which has undergone two procedures in the past two years. Tanaka's velocity is at about the same speed -- high 80s/low 90s -- as it was last spring when it was a bit down. He did regain velo once the season began. Tanaka has a 7.36 ERA in 11 innings so far this spring.

The Obvious choice if assuming they dont go with Severino, who could also get the ball

With that said, Id expect CC to be the opening day starter

no miller time:suds:

Andrew Miller exited Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Braves after he was hit in the right (non-pitching) wrist/hand area by a comebacker.

Uh oh. Miller immediately walked to the dugout and slammed his glove to the ground. The Yankees will already be without Aroldis Chapman for the first month of the season as he serves his suspension, so Dellin Betances would move into the closer role if Miller needs to miss time. The Yankees should pass along an update soon.:2cents:

Yankees season over before it starts

What a bunch of pussies baseball players are

Guy breaks his NON pitching hand and will miss most of the season?

Brian Mitchell is going on the DL because he "Stretched his toe too far off the rubber"?

Only he says he wants to

No official word from the Yankees......Which I would expect "Surgery, out 4 months"
Sucks. Seems like the Yanks are having as disastrous a ST as the Jays had last year.

Things worked out pretty well for us though so maybe it will for them too.
