My morbid curiosity would've loved to have seen an Ubaldo vs. Pineda matchup this weekend. If anything, it would've likely have been a replay of last nights game we had against Boston.

If the Jays rotation continues to pitch as well as it has, I could see the Jays running away with the division again. I also wouldn't expect Pillar, Encarnacion (who had a 150 OPS+ from 2012-15), Pillar and Martin to underperform as much as they have. Getting Devon Travis back helps too, especially when the alternative is Ryan Goins and his career 64 OPS+.

Big time pitching from Marco Estrada today. No hitter into the 8th of the Red Sox is impressive. Home run by Young in the 8th and a lead-off double to Pedroia in the 9th sends him from the game. Will improve on the league leading BAA. And 4 HR's from the Jays today. Watch out AL east, they're coming.
