Really not a fan of Betances in the 7th. He's really struggling in this role. I would maybe swap he and Miller to see how that works

Hopefully Bogaerts can add a little more lift to his swing, and then the HR power will arrive. He's making plenty of hard/medium contact. His launch angle is 3.68 degrees (MLB average is 11.28), and he's been hitting way too many ground balls (around 55%).

Girardi strikes again

Nova at 62 pitches through 6 and he is removed from the game. Girardi pretty much eliminated Betances from the game tomorrow night. There was no need to use Betances the last 2 games as both Eovaldi and Nova pitched well enough to pitch into the 7th inning.

In other news, with the way Nova has pitched since entering the rotation, there is absolutely no reason for Severino to return to the team after his DL stint. Keep his ass in AAA until he improves

Another win for the Yanks. 3rd straight win on this road trip. I'll be satisfied with winning 3 of 4 in Oakland so let's hope Pineda or Tanaka can get us at least 1 win over the weekend.

Wow just realized the Yankees are currently on a stretch where they play 17 of 20 on the road. Their only home games come May 24-26 vs Toronto. After that they don't play another home game until June 6th
