I really have to Give Cashman credit he has been doing a lot of good things with out buying free agents. Next year he will have some money to play with finally. Save that money for Harper. Man watching him play is awesome. We might have our next great player.

The quicker the Red Sox can get rid of Sandoval the better, what a waste of money he turned out to be.

AL East points

if Aaron Sanchez pitches like that, the Jays will be really tough to deal with........Otherwise I still question that rotation

Yankees feel like the identical team they were last season.......I worry about Betances inability to find the strike zone since last September

I expect the Sox to mash, and for Price to win most of his starts, so starting with Bucholz today, we will see if they could pitch

Aaron Sanchez is legit. Sadly, the rotation is looking better than expected, but the bullpen is the Jays typical wasteland. They should be 4-0 were it not for the usual bubbling garbage in the 8th inning.

Tampa still have a really well-rounded pitching staff that could surprise everyone in keeping them relevant deep into the season.

Yankees learning the value of winning the division after getting understandably owned again by Keuchel and then murdering everyone else on Houston.

Red Sox lineup is scary. Looking forward to this series. Could be a lot of double digits.

Baltimore...first place for now...just can't take them seriously.

So the last 3 times I turned to the Sox game, here were the scores.

1st time I turned: Sox lead 2-1
2nd time I turned: Jays lead 7-2
Just now when I turned: Sox lead 8-7

What's going on @navamind

Joe Kelly happened. And then Brock (Steve) Holt! happened.

Fun win. Even in the loss to the Indians, the Sox clawed their way back into it before the bullpen gave it up.

Last 4 seasons for Baltimore

93-69
85-77
96-66
81-81

That core knows how to win. They haven't had a losing season in a long while.
They can hit better than anyone with all their big bats. They have an amazing bullpen.
If they get anything out of their starters, they will easily contend.

Baltimore is hot right now.

Not a believer they could continue to win with Vance Worley types

Think by mid-summer, they will need to make a move for a legit starter

I'm pretty impressed with what I've seen from Tillman, albeit in a small sample size. He's throwing a lot harder right now. Getting Gausman back will be big too. But outside of that, their rotation leaves a lot to be desired. Gallardo's strikeout rate has dipped from 9.0 K/9 in 2012 to just 5.91 in 2015 (league strikeout rate was 7.8 last year), and he doesn't get that many ground balls. Jimenez rebounded last year, but he has trouble going 6+ innings.

Yeah, i see a whole lot of #3-4 types in that rotation, including Tillman, who i dont trust

Good news for them, it seems the entire AL East is a lot like that, but I still think they have the worst set of starters in the division
