Much like the team he founded, Al Davis was a man you either loved or hated, if you had any knowledge of the NFL, you had to be well aware of the presence of him, and his team. A man who thought outside the box, without prejudice, and was never afraid to take a stand for what he thought was right. A pioneer of the modern game, an icon and an inigma, Al Davis left his mark, and who, with all his faults, cared about our beloved OAKLAND RAIDERS more than anything in this world.

He was a running joke for most over the last decade but maybe now people will realize just how big of a positive impact he really had. He was a true trailblazer for the game.
