High ankle sprains will sideline Roberto Garza, Matt Slauson - Chicago Sun-Times

The Bears signed safety Ahmad Dixon off the Vikings’ practice squad and waived cornerback Demontre Hurst, who made his NFL debut Sunday and played special teams. Drafted in the seventh round by the Cowboys before being waived at the end of the preseason, Dixon was a second-team All-American at Baylor last year.

Interesting move, considering we're down 2 starting OL guys and maybe a starting WR.

I liked Dixon in this year's draft. It'll be interesting to see if he amounts to anything.

Everything I have read on Jeffery suggests he is fine to go they held him out of the game the other day because they didn't want to create an injury that would have been long term. We will see ofcourse.

Will probably bring Britton back. I don't think Slauson will be out as long- He was trying to get back in the game after a tape. HOPE is more like it.

Dixon can at least tackle. He's a very good in the box player, probably better than most of our LB's at tackling. He could be starting very soon.
