they said they had to completely ignore it, which really bothered me. almost enough to kinda make me lose interest in this show. why even bother mentioning thanos and showing on screen that there was the attack on New York if they couldn't follow through with it in any way........

even though it felt forced sometimes, I appreciated the fact that the show existed to some degree within the ongoings of MCU, now it's kinda like meh

I'm holding out some hope that while they couldn't do anything about the snap, that they were given notions of multiverse existing and hope that's where this version of coulson/sarge and his cohorts are residing from.........

It may be that they had to ignore "the snap" because the start date of AOS season 6 hadn't been decided on when the movie was filmed & they didn't want to chance slipping up and revealing something in the tv show before the film came out.

Decent show, but it is aggravating that it ignores the movies. This show used to be directly tied to the movies. Now it is completely divorced from them.

the show definitely jumped the shark awhile back.

Like most shows,, it was good for 2, maybe 3 seasons, then meh, stopped watching a while back.

I don't like how disconnected the show has become from the movies, but other than that, it's an enjoyable show, one of the rare ones that has surprisingly improved over time: I think season 1 was the worst season, and seasons 4 and 5 are the best seasons. If you gave up on the show during the mediocre seasons 1-3, you're missing out on good later seasons.

Yeah, agreed, that's what I'm saying: Agents of SHIELD is one of the few shows that has, for the most part, gotten better over the years rather than worse. This season, it's just annoying that it has pretty much nothing to do with the movies.

That was the first thing I thought about at the end of the finale. It just seemed too logical not to take advantage of.

After forcing myself through a couple more early season bad episodes, the season got a lot better and finished well.

Anyone else watching this season? With all the time traveling, it has a bit of a fun Legends of Tomorrow vibe, though with its own distinct flavor.

Unfortunately, it turns out Hayley Atwell apparently couldn't make it to this season due to filming scheduling conflicts, but we did get Daniel Sousa from Agent Carter added to the main cast instead. Nice to find out what ended up happening with that character given how Endgame's ending meant Daniel wasn't going to end up with Peggy.

I like it too, some of the episodes they really seem to be having fun with the show.
All in all, the series was pretty solid for going 7 years. Maybe never as good as it might have been, but still good and at times very good.

Well, the show is over now.

I thought the series finale was okay, but rather pedestrian.

I liked that with Daisy, Daniel, and Kora in space, they did kind of set up the rumored Agents of SWORD sequel series, which I'll look forward to watching if it ever gets produced.

To me, seasons 6-7, while they had their fun moments, were never as good as seasons 4-5, which were the high points of the series.
