Shaun Hill proved today why he has been a backup for most of his 13 years in the NFL. Throwing an INT in that situation down by three at the four yard line was about a bad a decision as any QB could make.

The decision to go to Hill was made because Austin Davis made these same decisions as a QB when he started. I have never seen a team that has two QB's that make the same bad decisions and neither of them will be starting again in the NFL after this season.

The Rams just have to play out this season and completely clean this roster of QB's and start over next season. Whether through the draft or free agency or both, just find any QB who won't make such stupid mistakes as Hill and Davis have made this season.

You can't throw a INT in that situation. If you're going to throw you have to be very careful to make sure you don't. Hill was reckless. You can't be reckless in that situation. That is the biggest mistake you can make in football. End of the game and at worst tie it with a FG. But again the refs screwed the Rams on a penalty that didn't happen. That punt return was legit.

Not sure what the Rams were thinking when they signed Shaun Hill over the other free agent QB's available. They knew Bradford was a question mark but they still went with Shaun Hill.

I am sure after this game, they regret how they handled the QB sitaution this year during the off season.

Actually you might be right , Johnny Hekker might be the best QB on the Rams roster.

If Bradford stays healthy next season, you will have starter-quality QB next season. Overpaid, yes, but still starter-quality.

I believe Bradford does have the talent. He just hasn't put it together yet because of injuries, poor coaching, and lack of talent around him.

I don't think it was reckless, he just didn't see the second defender.

Is it too late to instill Keenum as the starter? :noidea:
Don't think we have anything else to lose by this point.

IF Bradford is a Ram next season (and that is a BIG if), he will not be overpaid. He will be cut at the appropriate time so as to cut the Rams cap number down. Then, if the Rams choose to resign him at a SIGNIFICANTLY reduced salary, he will be here. Either way, he is not making more than 2-3 million next season at most.

Actually for a so called veteran QB that was a very ill advised throw, I think even if that isn't intercepted the guy covering Britt knocks that ball away. I think Britt was pretty well covered, I only wish that ball was knocked down:bawling:

Hill was only 5 yards away, he could have easily pulled the ball down and ran it in himself. No wait, too slow.

He was pretty well covered. I've seen similar plays intercepted by veteran QBs around the league, sometimes they just don't see that roaming defender.

Give it a rest, he was ineffective before, now he is damaged goods.
