technically not NFL, but people mentioned The Replacements and Any Given Sunday, which aren't either.
The Replacements was about the NFL during the 1987 players strike. NFL wanted to protect their brand by not giving Hollywood permission. Washington is featured in the movie and Washington went on to win the Super Bowl.

I'm not sure they ever mentioned "NFL" in the movie by name, though you're right the strike was in that year, and Washington did win. But the team was named, "The Sentinels" and played against the likes of "Detroit", "Dallas", "Phoenix" and "San Diego" with weird off-colors and logos. I guess you could say it was meant to be the NFL, though you'd never know for sure.

It's a shame that the NFL doesn't ever want to get involved in football movies. Any Given Sunday is the greatest such movie about pro football, and they had to fictionalize a whole league (albeit with some real NFL stars) because of copyright concerns.
